形態特徵

• Rhizome long creeping. Culms erect, 30-60 cm tall, 1.5-3 mm wide, trigonous, rigid.
• Leaves several, 2-3 mm wide, scabrous.
• Spikes 3-5; upper 2-3 staminate,linear, 2-4 cm long, pale to reddish brown; lower 2-3 pistillate, oblong, 1-2 cm long, ca. 2.5 mm wide, subsessile. Bracts sheathless; lower bracts leafy, surpassing inflorescence.
• Pistillate glumes ovate, 6-8 mm long, acute to at apex. Utricles longer than glume, patent, oblong, 7-9 mm long, strongly spongy, dark brown when mature, nerveless or nearly so, obtusely trigonous; beak deeply bidentate. Achenes ovate to elliptic, trigonous, ca. 4-6 mm long; stigmas 3.

• 台灣 : marshy seacoast in the north.
• 世界 : China, Japan, Korea and the Ryukyus.
